I suppose that one major benefit of me getting ready to leave is that I remember to use my camera a bit more 😀  And having an incredible photographer friend in town also helps!  Just in case you were wondering why in the world you should consider coming to visit us in the future, I decided to give some hard proof 😀  Budapest, for all the spiritual turmoil it is in, is a city that God handpaints to sleep every night!  For that reason alone you should start planning to trip!  And Michelle and I would LOVE to have you come to visit!  So please start thinking dates and not excuses!

We all love making friends and friendship is definitely something important and dear to all of us!  This past week I have gotten to make a new friendship with a truly awesome family who came to Budapest for several weeks!  It has been truly amazing to get to know them and to hear their story and see how God is working in and through them!  They were incredibly generous and nice to spend my birthday with me and have treated me to so many meals and incredible trips!  And, as a professional photographer, Robert has even been incredibly nice to supply me with a whole bunch of awesome headshots!  I am excited to be able to share these with you and would definitely very highly recommend his work!!  Thanks so much Miller family!  You guys have been an awesome blessing!

It is crazy to me how quickly time moves on by!  It seems like just yesterday I was caught in a spiritual dilemma of what to do with this burden on my heart for Hungary 😀  Here I am getting ready to say goodbye to Hungary for a year and stepping into a new segment of life.

I have loaded a few photos to help you catch up with the times!  I have also updated a few other parts like the Quotations segment and the Theological papers 🙂  Take some time to check it out!

I also learned recently that my 5 year Cru anniversary is just about here…can you believe it has already been 5 years?  I certainly can’t!  4 years in Hungary (3 consecuative) and 1 in the States.  I am excited by all God has done these past 5 years and cannot wait to see what the next 5 have in store!

The first blockbuster of the summer has hit computers everywhere!  Or…at least it has hit yours 🙂  Take a few minutes and join me in reflecting back on what God has done this past academic year!  And check out the prayer letters for more awesome details!

I don’t normally repost nor do I typically have time to read articles or blogs by others. But this one happened to grab my attention (probably because my fiancee first noticed it 🙂 ) and I think it definitely rings true.

There are so many more parts of Hebrews 11 that I now better understand and more closely relate to.  One of them is definitely vs. 13-16

These all died in faith, not having received the things promised, but having seem them and greeted them from afar, and having acknowledged that they were strangers and exiles on the earth.  For people who speak thus make it clear that they are seeking a homeland.  If they had been thinking of that land from which they had gone out, they would have had opportunity to return.  But as it is, they desire a better country, that is, a heavenly one.  Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for He has prepared for them a city.

I think international missionaries definitely strongly feel the sense of homelessness.  But, let me let the article inform you because I think it does a great job 🙂  An insiders perspective into some of the challenges of being a missionary in a different country.

That is right, I have finally managed to stick a few more photos up here!  You can check them out in the photo section!  And hopefully there will be more to come…the biggest challenge is remembering to actually make use of my camera.  I always remember…but usually only after the fact 🙂
